Meditation CD’s

This will be a series of relaxing guided Meditation CD's. Listen to the velvet tones of Ann Mackrory to soothe away the tension whilst helping to balance and harmonise you. There will be meditations for balancing the Chakras, to help heal the past and more.

Also a CD to help you understand and improve your creative visualisation and to develop your meditation skills.

About Meditation : Most of the time the focus of your mind is on what is, and what has been going on around you on a day to day basis which churns away endlessly. Often when I mention meditation many people think of yoga, deep trance, being spaced out. But relaxing meditation is not like that.

Meditation is being in a state of relaxed body and focused, alert mind with a single concentration or focus. It's about inner harmony and peace, it's about balance and disciplining the mind to focus on a voice or visualization – an imaginary picture or pictures in the minds eye.

Meditation is tremendously beneficial, it calms, it is soothing, balancing and helps to gain focus and perspective on life. But it is only really effective when the deeper inner emotions have stopped bubbling away and have been released. That is why focus of attention is so important. Only then does meditation truly enhance your soul and your being.

That is why I will be asking you to sit quietly, with eyes closed, really concentrate on my every word and try to visualize what I say when applicable.

Creative Visualization : Is there anyone who thinks they can't visualize?
Ask -------What colour is your bathroom?
Colour of favourite outfit?
Can you physically see these things?...............
A nice day out………
A great outfit someone wore……
Well, all these are visualizing.
So creative visualization is pictures in the mind of a person, or a situation you would like to find yourself in, a landscape etc, etc. It is imagining, seeing, feeling, or describing something you would like to create. With practice it will become natural to use your imagination positively.
All this is a form of visualization. When we can somehow picture or feel what it is we want, we are then visualizing. It really is that simple.

Chakras
In one or two of the meditations you will hear me mention Chakras. They are seven subtle energy centres in the body. When all seven chakras are aligned and balanced it produces a positive energy field that is your aura. A bit like a well tuned piano or a well serviced engine. When they are severely out of balance it produces a negative state or charge which produces unwanted results. Where I mention the Chakra and colours that relate to the various areas of the body – I am balancing and calming you. They are the colours of the rainbow. At school I learned how to remember the rainbow colours with the acronym Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vein.
